Udatsu, a beautiful townscape born out of the vanity and elegance of wealthy merchants

更新日:

Rather quickly, I found a store with a retro "Bon Curry" sign, and

Read the descriptions embedded in the ground, or

"Isn't this a little too touristy for you?" I grinned at the fire extinguishing tools.

I was happy to take pictures of the quaint building and the pay phone right next to it.

The well I found reminded me of Sadako and

I took a quick shot of the Odeon constellation, which was not yet open due to time constraints.

I spent my time parading around the udatsu streets.

Ah, yes! Here's what surprised me.

I saw pine cones being sold unattended. I don't know what the market price is, but 100 yen per piece is expensive, isn't it? I don't know what the market price is, but 100 yen for one is a lot of money!
I was born and raised in the countryside, near mountains, so they were everywhere. When I was a kid, I don't know what it was, but I was scared of them. Pine cones.

In terms of time, it's roughly an hour's walk.

But I began to feel dizzy, perhaps because I was still tired from the packed sightseeing and long-distance travel the day before, or perhaps because I hadn't slept much and was therefore sleep deprived.

It would have been better to turn back here, but I didn't want to miss the chance to enjoy clear skies on both Saturday and Sunday for the first time in a while, so I was even more inspired to "conquer the roadside stations" and drove westward.

However, it was getting harder and harder, and I was not moved by any of it. I just stepped into "Roadside Station Mino" (but of course it was not functioning because it was early in the morning) and "Yoshinogawa Highway Oasis" before reaching my limit and making a U-turn.

I took my time and went home while recovering at the roadside stations scattered around. After returning home, I took my medicine for the first time in a long time, slept as much as I could, and consumed my time senselessly lol.

but it made my body feel better.

At any rate, both the roadside station and Highway Oasis we visited that day had not yet opened, so no count. I'll take it over to the next time.

Anyway, it was an incomplete failure.

With regret, I ran out of the house on the last day of the three-day weekend, as I should have. To be continued.
