3:30 p.m.
The second part of the event has begun.
In the second part of the event, two players were selected by lottery to challenge Cernigo to a Pokémon game.
For the sake of time, a time limit of 25 minutes was set for each player.
The first player was a boy in green.
I think he was using a deck built around a Water Pokémon. I think he had a Gekkoga, but I don't think he had a Gekkoga.
Cernigo, on the other hand, was playing with a starter deck. I guess he didn't choose his brush.
The second player was a big friend with a fierce aura. I'm not sure what kind of deck he was playing.
Against Cernigo, I think the deck was kind of pippy. He seemed to be sticking a lot of super energy on it.
In conclusion, Cernigo won both matches. However, both challengers fought well and were splendid.
It was a great performance by both challengers. Hari-san was also an unqualified admirer.
I have only collected Pokéka games 25 years ago, and I don't know much about the rules, but I was very satisfied to be able to watch the Four Heavenly Kings of Pokéka fight from a seat covered with sand, with a reflection of Cernigo behind me.
In addition to the chair zone, there was a blue-sheet zone where participants could take off their shoes and go up, where fierce battles were being waged among the home-made decks they had brought with them.
The scene was very heartwarming.
From small children to university students and adults, the Pokéka Taisen was a mix of people. I was really happy to be able to participate in the event, watching people of all ages and both sexes having fun playing a single game.
I don't play Pokémon, but I realized once again how much the Pokémon content has permeated our daily lives.
I was a member of the old Pokémon card generation going home thinking, "I was able to see and hear many wonderful things today. It was a lot of fun!
That's all for this time. See you soon.
