I went to the Nishi-Awa fireworks.
The Nishi-Awa Fireworks is a large-scale fireworks event in which pyrotechnicians from all over Japan gather in Miyoshi City to compete in their respective skills.
Unlike most fireworks shows, this is a fireworks "competition".
Since this is the first time the event has been held in four years since the previous one in 2019, the battle for tickets was quite fierce. Moreover, it was not only tickets for viewing seats that were up for grabs. We also needed tickets for the parking lot.
I managed to obtain two types of tickets and went to the venue with great enthusiasm, and enjoyed the event!
11.11.2023 10:30 a.m.
First, at a convenience store near the parking lot, I met up with Ponju, who invited me to go with her this time. I met up with Mr. Ponju, who invited me to go with him this time. (Mr. Ponju: Mr. Tyrannosaurus Race)
By the way, the members of the group this time were,
Mr. Ponju, Diceke Tokushima, Ma Tokushima, and Tomojiro. These four were Ponju-san, Tokushima Diceke, Tokushima brother Ma, and Tomojiro.
Ponju-san appeared in the article on Mr. Tyrannosaurus Race and Tomojiro appeared in the article on the expedition to Hyogo Prefecture.
As I am used to going alone, this was a very rare group activity for me. It was hard not to be excited. (*Only Tomojiro, who had just finished his night shift, was scheduled to join us late.)
We parked our car in the parking lot and boarded the shuttle bus.
Apparently we were the first ones on the shuttle bus.
Excited, I say "please" to the driver and get in the car. After a while, we were on our way.
We were on our way to the venue!
Western Tokushima Health and Disaster Prevention Park, arrival!
Get off the shuttle bus and walk a few hundred meters,
Show your ticket at the entrance/exit gate.
Then, you will receive a pamphlet and wristband for the number of people in your group.
Especially important is the wristband.
The reason is that it is not only necessary for re-entry, but also for boarding the shuttle bus for the return trip.
Quite a lot of food stalls were lined up in a row,
We headed for our reserved seats (4-seat A-D area).
They spread out the blue sheets that had already been prepared, put down their belongings, and completed the base.
Yeah, it's kind of nice.
