The story of how I satisfied my stomach and soul by slurping Chinese noodles at the famous hideout restaurant "Kiguya" in Anan City, Tokushima Prefecture.

Nice. The Chinese noodle soup has an unpretentious and friendly impression that fits the image of the friendly owner. Above all, it looks delicious. The soup is generous, probably so that the customers can enjoy the kaedama.

The ingredients are bean sprouts, seaweed, pork belly, chopped green onion, and fish paste. The noodles are slightly thin, not too thin and not too thick.

Let's start with the soup. Is it a light pork bone base? It is nice. I like rich ramen, but I also love light Chinese noodles. The soup soaks into you.

Then, I slurp the noodles. It's good. Slurp. It's good!

The bean sprouts and chopped green onions are crunchy. The laver is thick. The pork belly goes well with the salty broth, and the fish paste is a nice accent.

This is not good. What's bad is that my ranking of favorite ramen shops has been changing a lot recently. It's not that I'm trying to rank them, but I still have the blogs and videos stuck in my head, so as I'm eating my chuka-soba, I'm thinking, "Oh man…" lol.

By the way, I don't drink all the soup. I don't drink all the broth because I'm concerned about my health. You may hear me say, "Don't talk so much about eating ramen," but that's not true. If I don't stay healthy, I may not be able to eat the ramen I haven't eaten yet. Therefore, health comes first. No matter how good the soup tastes or how much I want to drink it, I basically hold back and put down my bowl, chopsticks, and lenggae. Then, I put my hands together and mutter, "Gochisoso-sama desu!

Well, that was seriously delicious!

And then, when it came time to pay the bill and leave, there was one more surprise.

As I was about to leave my bowl of food on the counter and take a 1,000 yen bill from my wallet to pay the bill, the owner noticed and laughed, saying, "Oh, I left the change for you, so please take it and go home. I had no idea that even the cash register was self-service. I looked at the blue container for change, and sure enough, there were plenty of 100 yen coins and 50 yen coins in it. So, I kept the container as a weight to prevent the 1,000-yen bill from flying away,

I thought to myself, "Hey, what's that? Was it Chinese soba I ate? Or was it a large one? Hmm? I wonder how much it costs for a large portion.

I felt bad asking the busy owner, so I gave him 150 yen in change and said, "Thanks for the food. It was delicious," and left the restaurant.

Kiguya is another recommended ramen shop. The chuka-soba itself is delicious, and you can also enjoy the warmth of the owner. It is a restaurant that satisfies both the stomach and the soul.

However, as mentioned above, they are closed irregularly, so be sure to check their Twitter. Also, my analysis of the restaurant may not always be correct, so if that happens, please let me know. I'm sorry!

Also, please note that this wood shop closes as soon as they sell out, and sometimes they sell out and close within an hour of opening.

See you soon.
