Sharaku] "Ai Cheese Langdosha," a confectionery made with indigo produced in Tokushima Prefecture, is delicious.

Was Sharaku from Tokushima?

This is the title as it was written on the back of the package, but it says that Sharaku, one of Japan's most famous painters, may have been a resident of Tokushima Prefecture.

Sharaku is an unidentified artist, a kind of "Banksy" of today. However, the discovery of new data (probably Jurobei Saito's past book) in 1997 confirmed the previously accepted theory that the mysterious painter Sharaku was in fact Jurobei Saito, a Noh actor in the service of the Awa clan (Tokushima domain), which greatly increased the credibility of the story.

Because of these circumstances, it is now settled that the mysterious painter Sharaku is a person associated with Tokushima Prefecture. That is why Mr. Saito is the one. I wonder if other famous people associated with Tokushima Prefecture (with a high percentage of eyebrows) will be supported by the discovery of new data and become established theories.

It may be difficult to find new data on people as far back as Himiko, but it is possible with Christ, for example. I'm hoping for such a new development, as it would be a good opportunity for Tokushima Prefecture to get excited again.

I thought as I ate this langdosha that people in the past also did something like One Piece's discussion, and that people like to try to arrive at an answer from limited clues.

I thought to myself as I ate the langue d'ocha that I could enjoy the historical insights while enjoying the delicious taste.

It was very delicious. See you soon.
