This year's New Year's Eve will come and go in the blink of an eye.
The sixth year of the Tokushima prefecture-specific blog has passed in a blink of an eye.
be shocked.
Therefore, I will be writing the concluding article of my annual year in review.
First Tyrannosaurus race run in Tokushima Prefecture
Tyrannosaurus races are held all over Japan. This year, the first such race was held in Miyoshi, Tokushima Prefecture.
The competition, in which contestants ran at full speed in air-inflated Tyrannosaurus suits, was a great success, with participants of all ages and genders. This is where I met Ao Souan, Akane, Ponju, K-san and his son, and Sauchiwa.
The result of the event was as described in the article, but I was more than happy to have met so many people, and it was the best harvest of the event. I had no idea at the time that I would meet Ponju-san again on another occasion.
All-you-can-eat tarai udon noodles in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Roadside Station Donari
Now that I think back, I probably started gaining weight when I tried this project, lol.
But you know what? Tarai udon. It was delicious, and it was fun to have a friend running the project. I ended up with 4.5 balls in time. And out of a "mottainai" spirit, I ate up the remaining 0.5 balls after hours, and ended up eating all 5 balls.
I thought I was going to die because I ate so much lol. I couldn't move at all after the meal, like I couldn't move even when I ate 2.5 kg of yakiniku or drank 25 draft beers. I was so full, Tokushima, I couldn't move an inch.
So it became a bag of udon seriously. It was a most interesting project that showed off Awami's dosh. But I haven't been able to go back since then. I stopped by once on a whim, but it was closed and I couldn't get in.
Next year, I'd like to drop by here and there, do the gacha-meshi, and show up.
Ryota Yamasato's 140 Tokushima Performance
I bought a ticket and went to see the show as a conditioned reflex, saying, "Wow, Yamachan is coming.
I had just been depressed because of a number of things, so I thought I would be cheered up by having a real person make me laugh, and it was really funny.
I don't remember the content of the show because, as usual, I magically forgot it the moment I left the venue, but I'm sure it was funny. I don't know how many drinks I drank with the tumbler I bought as a souvenir.
I hope you come to Tokushima again.
Yonezu Kenshi Live
My brother Ma got the tickets and we were able to go to the Kenshi Yonezu concert.
Yonezu Kenshi is now one of the most famous artists in Japan. He is also from Tokushima Prefecture, so he entertained us during the live with material that would make Tokushima residents grin.
He talked about "fish cutlets on a stick" during the show, but no one in the audience, including myself, knew what it was, and it remains a mystery to this day. Perhaps someone just cut it out beforehand, lol.
Anyway, I was very happy to hear all 4 songs (Lemon, LOSER, KICK BACK, and Flamingo) that I especially wanted to hear live.
I also enjoyed the gacha-gacha, and got about 6 different figurines without ever doubling up.
